The second and final week of camp in Eagle Creek, Oregon has wrapped up for the 2017 US Senior Greco-Roman World Team and with that, comes a cavalcade of more photos and videos for you to look at. Last week saw the team shooting (guns), rafting, participating in workouts, and making an appearance on a TV news show. This latest round of media offers some different activities that popped up. Patrick Smith (71 kg, Minnesota Storm) and Robby Smith (130 kg, NYAC, world no. 20) filmed themselves flying in a private airplane; the athletes went fishing; and the lighter of the two Smiths played some guitar. In fact, most of what you’ll see below comes from US National Team head coach Matt Lindland and either Pat or Robby Smith. The two weeks in Oregon were centered around circuit-training and conditioning, but team-building was also a primary focus and it is easy to see that was accomplished.

With this initial base training camp out of the way, the US Greco-Roman team will now busy up in preparation for the 2017 Tbilisi Grand Prix in Tbilisi, Georgia June 10th and 11th.
